Terrorist Brenton Tarrant, who killed 49 people in a mosque in New Zealand on Friday, was on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina in January 2017, according to Klix.ba news portal.

Brenton Tarrant entered Bosnia and Herzegovina from Montenegro, more precisely at the Zupca border crossing in early January 2017.

It is not known at the moment whether and how long he stayed in the territory of BiH, but according to current information, this could be known by Croatian police agencies if Tarrant from BiH moved to the direction of the Republic of Croatia.

According to information from the Croatian 24sata portal, Tarrant entered Croatia on January 4th, 2017, and flew from Zagreb on January 18th. Most of the time he stayed in the hostels, and reportedly visited Porec, Zadar, Sibenik, Dubrovnik and Zagreb.

If the date of entry into BiH and entry into the Republic of Croatia is taken into account, it can be concluded that Brenton Tarrant has spent more than one day in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Tarrant started an attack by entering the mosque opening fire at the believers for about five minutes. Then he came to the other mosque with the car where the rifle continued. One of people from mosques managed to disarm Tarrant, who then entered the car, and then was arrested.

Australian Tarrant was brought to court in white jackets and handcuffs, and one indictment related to the murder was pronounced. It is expected that the indictment will soon be extended.
