It is a mayor’s traditional reception that is held every year for the students of generation, students with special diploma who achieved average grade 5.0 during the entire education as well as school principals, teachers, and parents.

The Mayor Huskić talked with the students of generation about their plans for the future, and their further education.

That is the reason why  both domestic and foreign institutions and investors recognize us as their reliable partner for the future. In the last three years of mandate of this municipal administration, almost 1 million BAM was invested in scholarships for undergraduate studies, and more than 1,000 students from the area of Tešanj received their scholarships. Also, our students have the support for the defense of  their master theses and PhD dissertations.

Furthermore, in order to support our high schools and colleges, the Municipality organized two “Fair’s of high schools and colleges” for students and their parents, and we are planning to continue with this practice. Also, implementation of retraining and additional training through the Center for Adult Education should be added to all of this “, said Suad Huskić, the Mayor of Tešanj.

The intensive scholarships project was started in 2008. Since then, more than 2,200 students received scholarships worth more than 2 million BAM.
