The accumulated Loss of the Banja Luka Airport amounts to 7.3 Million BAM

The accumulated loss of “Airport of Republika Srpska” at the end of last year reached the amount of 7.3 million BAM, it was stated in the audit report made by the independent auditing company “Grant Thornton”.

Also, the auditors stated that at the end of last year, the current liabilities of the Banja Luka airport exceeded the current assets by the amount of 5.32 million marks.

“The management of this public company believes that, with the help of the Government of Republika Srpska, it is taking all the necessary measures in connection with continuous operations,” says the audit report, which will be considered at the meeting of the shareholders’ assembly of this company, which was announced for June 28, reports Nezavisne novine.

In the same document, it is also stated that at the end of last year, three court cases were conducted against the company, the estimated value of which was 460,429 BAM.

“On December 31, 2023, the company appears as a plaintiff in a court case whose estimated value is 62,383 BAM,” the auditors state.

They stated that, according to information from the administration, after December 31, six court cases in the amount of 411,640 BAM were initiated against the company.
