BiH Presidency Member Denis Bećirović held a surprise meeting today with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Daniel Koski.

They discussed the current security and political situation, as well as the strengthening of the strategic partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States, Becirovic announced on social media.

Bećirović emphasized that the alliance and friendship between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States is not short-term, but long-term in nature.

Pointing to the dangerous anti-Dayton and anti-constitutional actions of the authorities of the Bosnian entity of RS, he emphasized that without protecting the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, peace and stability in the country cannot be preserved.

Chargé d’Affaires of the US Embassy Daniel Koski said that peace, security and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region are in the interest of the US.

He also emphasized that the US support for the independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and multiethnic character of Bosnia and Herzegovina is unquestionable.
