“We inform you that the officers of the Tešanj Police Station did not register a direct address or report of possibly injured persons. Also, the police patrols that were deployed along the section of the movement of vehicles returning from the protest rally did not record a single incident. The police officers of the Tešanj Police Station, in cooperation with their colleagues from the Teslić Police Station, are verifying the allegations of the report received by the officers of the Police Station. Teslić, which is dated September 1, 2023. at 9:10 p.m., informed by phone by a person who did not provide his identification information that in the town of Jelah around 7:30 p.m. stones were thrown by several persons in the direction of a convoy of vehicles returning from a protest rally,” it was stated in the response to our inquiry from the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, ZDK.

To recall, numerous citizens gathered on the inter-entity lines in four locations, in support of the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, and the Acting Official Messenger of the RS, Miloš Lukić, against whom the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment.
