The fourth Austrian Ball in Bosnia and Herzegovina opened last night in one of the most beautiful buildings in the region, the Sarajevo City Hall.
The Sarajevo ball fairy tale was magnified by 700 artists from BiH, the region, Europe, and pianist Robert Verner. The Sarajevo Philharmonic also performed for the first time, and this ball will be remembered for the fact that the Corte el Bonche dance number was performed for the first time in Europe, in Sarajevo.
The gala evening started at 8:00 p.m., the guests who paraded on the red carpet were accompanied by the Military Band of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the fanfare marked the official start of the ball.
Sixteen young debutantes started their first dance, and after that the podium was open for dance performances by guests, lovers of classical dance, salsa, tango, opera, ballet.
At this Sarajevo ball, among others, the opera champion of the Sarajevo National Theater, winner of numerous awards and recognitions, baritone Marko Kalajanović, performed.
The dance couple Lovro Petraković from Croatia and Adriana Glowacka from Poland who perform at international tournaments under our banner, Sensual bachata with El Panuelo choreography, KUD Jedinstvo from Split with the point of the Croatian salon circuit, Bella Arte from Sarajevo also took part in the ball.
The salsa dance point Mambo Madness was presented by two dance groups Baila Conmigo and La Negrita from Split.
The city of Vienna sent gifts for all the ladies this year as well.
The organizers of the Austrian Ball in BiH are the Association Austrian Ball in BiH, the City of Sarajevo, with the support of the Delegation of the European Union in BiH and the Embassy of the Republic of Austria in BiH, Fena news agency reports.
