In eight Montenegrin municipalities, the biggest seizure of illegal weapons in the last few decades is underway, announced Montenegrin Minister of the Interior Danilo Šaranović.
The RTCG portal previously announced that the police raided the premises of several persons suspected of having ties to organized criminal groups.
Searches are being carried out in Bijelo Polje, Plav, Gusinje, Pljevlje, Rozaje, Andrijevica and Berane, and officers of the Crime Fighting Sector seized the largest amount of weapons at one location in Plav, according to the RTCG.
