The Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Zukan Helez together with the Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) Nermin Niksic visited on August 17th the production facilities of the “Binas” special industry factory in Bugojno, which is undergoing production and development expansion.

The host for the Minister of Defense and the delegation of the Government of the FBiH was the acting director of the company “Binas”, Abaz Mandzuk, who introduced the guests to the production capacities, products, export arrangements of this “bright example of the company, which is on the rise and which has been reborn with the arrival of new management”.

After years of stagnation and an unfavorable business process, caused by incompetent management of the same, and on the verge of shutting down, the new management led by director Mandzuk raised this former giant from the ashes and made it the driving force behind the development of the Bugojno region.

The Minister of Defense of BiH said that he is extremely proud of the success achieved in the last two years when this company was saved from collapse, the workers kept their jobs, all unpaid wages were paid to workers, seniority was bridged, and new million-dollar contracts were signed for this year and for the next year 2024.

Prime Minister Niksic and the Federal Minister of Energy, Mining, and Industry Vedran Lakic, who was also in the delegation, were positively surprised by the success of this company, which is extremely important for the development of overall industrial production in FBiH, but also for the development of this region and the retention of young people in our country.

Everyone promised to support the program that was presented at the meeting with the management of this company and promised full support for the fulfillment of the company’s business goals and the employment of a new number of necessary workers for the necessary continuation and expansion of production in this economic entity.
