The Body of a Mother who jumped into the River with her three Children was found in Albania

The body of Alma Arazi was found. The body of a four-year-old boy was found a few hours earlier, not far from where his eight-year-old sister was found on Monday. The body of a nine-year-old girl was accidentally found by a fisherman on Saturday evening.

Alma A. (39) and her three children allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Bojana River.

On the fateful day, a few hours before they were going to go to the river, the two daughters and the little son were in a cafe with their mother and her cousin.

On Saturday, the police arrested Ergis, who was already well-known to them for drug smuggling.

“Based on the investigation conducted and police intelligence data, it is suspected that the reason for leaving the apartment is the violence that the 31-year-old committed against his wife and children, who are suspected of committing suicide. On May 4th, 2024, a 31-year-old citizen E.A. (who was previously convicted of growing narcotic drugs) was arrested for the crime of causing suicide,” the police said.

He denied the accusations.

Divers searched the river for days and uncovered gruesome details of the case.

It was learned that it was Alma’s sister who reported Ergis to the police, claiming that he abused Alma. Local media reports that the couple had been living apart for some time and that he allegedly had an affair with another woman.

They state that even on the day he reported the disappearance of Alma and the children to the police, he told his wife that she was mentally ill and that she was taking medication for depression, N1 writes.
