The Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Muhamed Hasanović, announced today that at the session of the BiH Fiscal Council, all other members voted for the fiscal framework, while the representatives from Republika Srpska, including the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH Srđan Amidžić, decided not to support it, that is, not to vote.

“Thus, the Minister of Finance refused to vote for the proposal of which he is the official proposer, and the budget for 2026 remains blocked due to the actions of personnel from the RS,” Hasanović pointed out.

He explained that the fiscal framework, whose official proposer is the Minister of Finance, was previously agreed upon between Minister Amidžić and Chairperson Borjana Krišto and as such was sent to the Fiscal Council, the Cabinet of the Deputy Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
