KJKP “Sarajevogas” doo Sarajevo informs natural gas users in the Sarajevo Canton that they received an e-mail from “Sarajevo-Gas” ad Istočno Sarajevo in the late afternoon today informing them that they will suspend the supply of natural gas through the main gas pipeline owned by them.
“As they stated in the letter, the gas will be suspended due to “urgent work at the Block Station in Snagovu from Wednesday, February 26 at 00:00 to Thursday, February 27 at 00:00,” the statement from KJKP “Sarajevogas” doo Sarajevo states.
In the event that gas supply to the Sarajevo Canton is suspended, KJKP “Sarajevogas” will suspend gas supply to all consumers who have the option of using alternative fuel. In this way, conditions would be created for individual consumers/households and all others who do not have the option of using alternative fuel to have uninterrupted natural gas supply for as long as possible.
KJKP “Sarajevogas” appeals to all users who will use gas during the specified period to rationalize their consumption.

“KJKP “Sarajevogas” has defined procedures for dealing with this and similar situations and is currently finalizing the work plan of the field team that will adapt to the new conditions for the delivery of natural gas. We will regularly inform the public about any changes,” it was announced from KJKP “Sarajevogas” doo Sarajevo.
From “Sarajevo-gas” East Sarajevo, workers of this company previously stated that due to the rally “Protection and Defense of the Republika Srpska and its Interests”, which is being held today and tomorrow in Banja Luka, they will not be able to repair the malfunction and release natural gas before midnight on February 27.
