The Council of Ministers B&H approved 300 million BAM for Helicopters of the Armed Forces of B&H

helicopterThe Council of Ministers today adopted a decision of approving 300 million BAM worth project “Ensuring and improving the operability of helicopters of the Armed Forces of B&H (AF B&H) from 2016 to 2025,” which provides the purchase of “L2” new helicopters, general overhaul and maintenance of profitable helicopters.

Approval of the project “Ensuring and improving the operability of the motor vehicles of the AF B&H 2016-2018,” worth 21,211 million BAM was also decided, by which is planned to purchase 191 motor vehicles.

Project worth 8,819,275 BAM was decided as well, which refers to the procurement of equipment for completing the tasks of assisting civil authorities in responding to natural and other disasters with implementation period of 2016-2020.

It is planned by the project to purchase specific equipment to deal with natural and other disasters, including equipment for the rescue of people and material goods, auxiliary equipment, standard engineering equipment, as well as standard intendant and medical equipment for performing rescuing operations.
