The Council of Ministers of B&H determined the Proposal of Law on Amendments to the Law on Consumer Protection in B&H, whose main aim is the explicit ban of indexing of loans in foreign currencies, except in EUR.
The reason for adopting this legislation, which was addressed for deliberation to the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H under the regular procedure, is the information of the Central Bank of B&H on the problems of the loan beneficiaries that are contracted with the clause on indexing obligations in Swiss francs (CHF), as announced from the Information Service of the Council of Ministers of B&H.
