Work on the rehabilitation of the terrain in Donja Jablanica continued with the engagement of machinery and volunteers, and as of this morning, 30 members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina have been re-engaged, according to the latest report of the Operation Center for Civil Protection of Herzegovina-Neretva County (HNŽ).

Road communications and facilities are being cleared in Donja Jablanica, in the area of ​​Zlat, Mirko, Čehar, Čivelje, lakeside villages, and in the construction of the road to the city’s garbage dump in Zakom.

Intensive work is being done on the preparation for traffic on the main road M-17-5 Jablanica – Blidinje.

Main roads M-17, M-17-5 and M-16-2 are maintained by the Directorate of Roads of the Federation of BiH with its design and construction companies.

Also, expert teams visit the field and assess the damage and give recommendations for their elimination.

Food and medicines are delivered to the residents of the municipality.

In addition, work continued on the arrangement of the locality for setting up a container settlement to house the families of those who died in the floods.

During the day, the City Headquarters of Civil Protection of the City of Konjic managed the care and assistance activities for the population in the area affected by the natural disaster.
