The death toll from the earthquakes that struck central Japan on January 1 has risen to 110.
Authorities also said the search for more than 200 people in the Ishikawa region was still ongoing, public broadcaster NHK reported.
Central Japan has been hit by numerous earthquakes measuring up to 7.6 on the Richter scale since Monday afternoon, causing widespread devastation, and many areas are still without transport links.
Since Monday, around 600 earthquakes have been recorded in that country.
Another 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit the region this morning.
Local officials are also having trouble delivering humanitarian aid to affected areas as roads remain damaged and often blocked, while thousands of homes are without electricity.
About 33,000 people were evacuated to about 370 shelters in Ishikawa, which faced the worst loss of life and infrastructure damage.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un unexpectedly sent condolences to Japanese Prime Minister Fumi Kishida over the deadly earthquakes, state media reported Saturday.
