amelThe Diamond League declared Amel Tuka the best Athlete in 2015. His race and victory were stated as the most spectacular in the season.

The IAAF Diamond League stated the names of five best athletes in 2015 who competed in races at 800 meters.

The BiH athlete Amel Tuka was declared the best, given that he had the best time of the season, 1:42.51. The BiH athlete is followed by Nijel Amos, Mohhammed Aman, David Rudisha and Ayanieh Souleiman.

“The first place goes to one of the biggest surprises of the season in races at 800 meters. Unbelievable progress of Amel Tuka from the fourth to the first place marked the race in Monaco. With this victory, Tuka prevented Amos from celebrating in the Diamond League, prior to the finals in Brussels,” it was stated on the web page of the Diamond League.
