The EU secured 140.5 Million Euros for Financing Reforms in BiH

At today’s session of the BiH Council of Ministers, the Proposal for an Agreement on the financing of the Multiannual Action for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2025 – 2027 between the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, represented by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was determined, worth a total of 140,500,000 euros.

It is an Agreement that will be fully financed by the European Union within the framework of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III).

In this way, with concrete financial support for reforms in BiH, the EU expresses its commitment to the advancement of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the European path.

The period of execution of this agreement is 12 years, and the period of operational implementation is six years from its conclusion.

The proposal of the agreement with the basis for its conclusion will be submitted to the Presidency of BiH for further procedures, and the director of the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of BiH has been proposed as the signatory of BiH, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
