The European Judo Championship U18 that will be organized in Sarajevo from June 28 to July 1, confirms that the capital city of BiH became one of the favourite destinations and addresses for organization of the official European and international competitions.
European Judo Union entrusted technical organization of this important official championship to our Judo Federation after the successful organization of the World Judo Championship U18 (2015). So far, our capital city hosted five European judo championships, one World judo championship and 14 European cups.
All of this will contribute to a very good and affirmative image of Sarajevo and BiH, which is one of the main reasons for organization of these prestigious competitions.
At this competition, more than 40 countries and 450 top judo athletes will fight for the title of the best judo athletes. This is the largest international sporting event that will be held in our country in the year of 2018.
“Of course, this event represents a great victory of the Judo Federation of BiH, a victory of the synergy of work of all judo activists in BiH, the victory of our communion,” as noted from the Judo Federation of BiH.
