The most devoted supporters of FC Ferencváros, the group that has been denied access to the stadiums in Hungary during the matches, set off recently from Budapest to Sarajevo with the intention to cheer for their club from the stands at Koševo.
They were still prevented in their intention by the members of the MIA of the Sarajevo Canton, so they went home with an incomplete mission. The management of FC Ferencváros disabled the match tickets for the abovementioned group, who still managed to get the tickets via the supporters of FC Željezničar.
“We cannot thank you enough for that kind of support that we have been given, in a situation that has befallen us. You have shown the mentality, brotherhood and solidarity that the supporters of FC Ferencváros will never forget. We feel sad for not being able to create the atmosphere that you have shown in two games, and that we would create as well. Good luck in the European League, and you will be welcomed any time you come to Budapest”, the fans of FC Ferencváros said.
As an act of solidarity during the match against FC Ferencváros, the fans of FC Željezničar raised a transparent on which it was written “Kubatov leave”, referring to the first man of the club and his conflict with the supporters.
