The Federation of BiH records Increase in Production of Eectricity

The gross production of electricity in the Federation of BiH in January 2024 was 804 GWh, while in the same month of 2023 it was 767 GWh.

In the total gross production of electricity, hydropower plants participated with 43.53 percent, thermal power plants with 50.62 percent, and wind power plants with 5.85 percent.

Brown coal production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in January 2024 was 288,402 t, and in the same month of 2023 it was 278,788 t.

Lignite production in January this year was 99,141 t, and in the same month of 2023 it was 56,573 t.

The production of coke in January this year is 62,426 tons, and in January 2023 it will be 63,152 tons.

The import of oil products in January 2024 was 101,760 tons, and in the same month last year it was 81,616 tons. Of the total imports, 79.48 percent of diesel fuel was imported in January, 10.48 percent of unleaded motor gasoline, 5.40 percent of fuel oil and extra light fuel oil, and 4.64 percent of other petroleum products, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
