The Foreign Exchange Reserves of BiH Central Bank amount to over Fifteen Billion BAM

The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of BiH at the end of June amounted to 15.32 billion BAM and are less by 210.1 million BAM or 1.4 percent than in the previous month.

Foreign exchange reserves at the annual level are lower by 579.6 million BAM or 3.6 percent, according to data from the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Compared to the previous month, the change refers to an increase in investment in securities of 118.9 million BAM or 1.8 percent, and a decrease in deposits with non-resident banks by 323.2 million BAM or 4.0 percent.

Total loans to domestic sectors at the end of the sixth month amounted to 22.73 billion BAM and are higher by 303.9 million BAM or 1.4 percent than in May.

Credit growth was registered in the household sector by 138.1 million BAM or 1.2 percent, private companies by 147.2 million BAM or 1.6 percent, non-financial public companies by 20.8 million BAM or 3.6 percent, and of other domestic sectors by 26.3 million BAM or 14.4 percent.

A decrease in credit growth was registered with government institutions by 28.4 million BAM or 2.7 percent.

The annual growth rate of total loans in June was 4.7 percent, nominally 1.01 billion BAM.

Annual credit growth was registered in the household sector by 614.2 million BAM or 5.7 percent, private companies by 307.2 million BAM or 3.3 percent, non-financial public companies by 108.7 million BAM or 22.3 percent, and in other domestic sectors by 30.8 million BAM or 17.3 percent.

Reduction of credit growth on the annual level was registered with government institutions by 50.3 million BAM or 4.6 percent, Federalna reports.
