The freed Israeli Prisoner claims that Israel knows nothing about the Hamas Tunnels in Gaza

Freed Israeli prisoner Adina Moshe, 72, who was held by Palestinian factions in Gaza, has revealed that the Israeli army has no real knowledge of the resistance’s tunnel infrastructure.

During an interview with Israeli television channel Channel 12, Moshe said that she was asked by Israel’s Shin Bet security service to draw a map of the tunnel after she was released in a prisoner exchange deal.

“The Shin Bet asked me to draw a map of the tunnels in Gaza because they don’t know anything about them,” Moshe said.

The security agency had sent an engineer to speak to Moshe earlier, where she told him that the tunnels in the Gaza Strip were “a huge underground labyrinth that spans the entire area.” She also told the engineer that military operations alone would not help bring back the remaining prisoners.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is lying, and neither he nor the army knows anything about the Hamas tunnels in Gaza,” added the freed prisoner.
According to Channel 12, when Moshe was asked to draw a sketch of the tunnel, she replied that she was not an artist.

She was also asked to describe the tunnels, their paths, their locations and the communication devices and wiring installed in them.

It is worth noting that Moshe participated in demonstrations demanding that the Israeli government reach a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas.

Her account highlights that even after years of conflict, Israeli authorities seem to lack critical intelligence about the full scope and locations of Hamas’ underground infrastructure. These tunnels have been instrumental for Hamas in carrying out attacks and hiding hostages, as well as avoiding Israeli airstrikes, Klix.ba writes.
