The Golden Circle of Courage, Love and Hope

Today, Visoko was the center of love, support and immense strength of the human spirit. On the initiative of the young hero Afan Habibović, with the organization of the Association “Heart for Children with Cancer” and the support of the City of Visoko and the Center for Culture, Sports and Information of the University of Visoko, the “Golden Circle of Sparkasa” humanitarian run/walk was held – an event that showed that the greatest strength lies in togetherness.

Under the golden sky of September, in the golden month dedicated to children with cancer, between 4,500 and 5,000 citizens, children, families, volunteers, donors and friends gathered to form one large, symbolic circle – a circle of support, solidarity and hope. Through donations and patronage, as well as the sale of Golden Circle T-shirts, 150,000 KM were collected, which will be directed to the Medical Health Fund of the Heart Association for children with cancer.

“It was more than a race. It was a walk of love for those whose daily struggle goes beyond kilometers – for children who face the most difficult challenges, but do so with incredible courage. It was a moment in which Visoko breathed as one, extending a hand of support and infusing strength to those who need it most,” the Heart for Children with Cancer Association announced.

Touching statements from parents, children, representatives of institutions, donors and friends of the project further emphasized the importance of such initiatives. Special emotions were aroused by the address of Afan Habibović – a young man who himself went through the path of fighting cancer, and today, as an ambassador of this event, inspires all of us to be better people.

“In a world that often forgets to stop and look around, the “Golden Circle of Sparkasse” reminded us that the greatest victories do not come with medals, but with support, unity and an open heart. Thank you to everyone who was part of this circle today. Together, we sent a strong message: No one should be alone in their fight,” said the Heart Association for children with cancer.
