gasGovernment of the FB&H discussed the Proposal of decision on approval of the wholesale price of natural gas.

According to this proposal, the gas should become cheaper by 15 %. The Government of FB&H adopted the proposal today.

Company BH-Gas proposed cheaper gas by 15 % to the Government of FB&H.

“The federal government gave its approval on the decision of the Supervisory Board of BH-Gas Ltd. Sarajevo from the 31st of August 2015. On the basis of this decision, starting from the 1st of October 2015, the wholesale price of natural gas for distribution business companies in the FB&H will amount to 640 BAM for 1,000 standard m3, or 0,640 BAM/Sm3. The price does not include value added tax (VAT). The current wholesale price, which has been in force since the 4th of September 2013, amounted to 754 BAM/1,000 Sm3″ as announced by the Government of FB&H.

As explained, the conditions that led to the possibility of lower prices in the fourth quarter are anticipated reduction in the price of Russian gas and signed annex of the contract on its transportation through Hungary, which led to the reduced transportation tax.

Mirza Sendijarević, CEO of BH-Gas, recently stated that he is expecting that the company KJKP Sarajevogas fulfill its obligations towards BH-Gas. That way, consumers in Sarajevo Canton would have the same conditions as all of the other consumers in B&H.

“We expecting the activities on solving this problem completely to continue, because the citizens of Canton Sarajevo who are regularly paying their obligations towards the KJKP Sarajevogas must be regularly supplied,” said Sendijarević.
