The Igman Initiative strongly condemns the Ideas of Ethnic Dismemberment of BiH

After the panel held in Zagreb and a kind of initiative for the introduction of a third entity, at which maps of the division of our country were presented, reactions are flowing in BiH, but also in the region.

On this occasion, the co-chairs of the Igman Initiative for BiH, Montenegro, Croatia and Serbia – Vehid Šehić, Aleksandar Popov, Zoran Pušić and Branislav Radulović – spoke out.

Among other things, they strongly condemn the attempt, as they stated, to destabilize the entire Western Balkans by ethnically dismembering BiH.

“As a network that inherits the tradition of intellectuals who entered besieged Sarajevo across Igman in 1995, defying divisions, we remind the public that we have obviously easily forgotten about Karađorđev and the tragic consequences of the agreement on the dismemberment of a sovereign state. Such actions irresistibly remind us of the rhetoric of the nineties and indicate that nationalist projects have not been defeated, but are only waiting for a moment of weakness to destabilize the region again,” the Igman Initiative stated.
