The Ilidža fire department today received a valuable donation from colleagues from Slovenia, i.e. Ljubljana, a set of equipment for 21 firefighters: intervention suits, helmets, helmets, gloves, boots and raincoats.
In 2025, this firefighting company received a valuable donation of two firefighting vehicles from colleagues in Germany – a Mercedes firefighting vehicle with all the necessary equipment for all types of interventions and a command firefighting vehicle with the most modern equipment.
On the occasion of this donation, the president of the VD Ilidža Nijaz Imamović said it is a great pride but also a responsibility to be at the head of the Ilidža Fire Department, a unit whose work is recognizable even outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as confirmed by the support of our colleagues from the European Union.
“We express our special gratitude to the mayor of the city of Monchengladbach-Germany and the mayor of Ljubljana, as well as our colleagues,” said the president of the Ilidža Fire Department, Nijaz Imamović.
