Camil Duraković bportal.baMayor of Srebrenica Ćamil Duraković stated that the promises given at the Investment-development conference for Srebrenica are mostly fulfilled, and that certain conclusions reached on this conference have already started being implemented.

According to Duraković, two out of ten million EUR promised by the Government of Serbia at the Conference held in November 2015 have already been paid to the account of the Municipality. Those two million EUR are intended for filling this year’s municipal budget.

“In spring, we are starting with great infrastructure projects important for the development of Srebrenica, especially when it comes to the economy of this area,” Duraković said.

Furthermore, Duraković stated that additional three million EUR from the Government of Serbia will be used for projects, but only when the Operational plan is adopted.

“Team for implementation of the Operational plan has already been appointed and, as soon as the plan is adopted, we are sending those projects to the Government of Serbia. Following that, the Serbian authorities will approach the implementation of our proposals, which was the deal for those three million EUR,” Duraković explained.

Duraković added that means in the amount of two million EUR promised by the Council of Ministers of B&H and amounting to three million EUR from Republika Srpska are still being awaited, but that he believes that these funds will also be paid as soon as conditions for implementation of projects for which these funds are intended are created.
