“In my opinion, there is no basis for this additional measure of prohibition. We will file an appeal and I expect that these measures will be lifted,” said lawyer Pizović. Ibro Berilo has been banned from holding office, which means that, even though he won a new mayoral mandate in Trnovo in this year’s local elections, he will not be able to hold that office.

“Until the final decision of the Supreme Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ibro Berilo cannot perform the function of the mayor of Trnovo”, stressed lawyer Pizović.

Today, a session of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo was held, which accepted the appeal of Berilo’s defense and canceled the detention, and rejected the proposal of the CS Prosecutor’s Office that he In the local elections held on October 6, Berilo was again elected mayor of the Municipality of Trnovo.

Ibro Berilo (the mayor of the Municipality of Trnovo), Nađa Milišić, were arrested in the operation codenamed “Incitat”. , Adis Mulaosmanović, owner of Lok-pil d.o.o. and Edina Džigal as well. Banning measures were imposed on Džigal, while detention was requested for the three of them.
