The Opening of a direct Air Line between Baku and Sarajevo is being intensively considered

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, today received the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vilayat Mukhtar Oghla Guliyev, on an inaugural visit.

The interlocutors emphasized that there are no open issues between Azerbaijan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and cooperation is constantly progressing and developing, including cooperation in international organizations.

It was established that there is a potential for greater cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture and tourism, and the need for accelerated consultations on the conclusion of ten bilateral agreements that are in the process was highlighted, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH announced.

Minister Konaković expressed the hope that the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Baku will be opened as soon as possible.

The ambassador pointed out that the opening of a direct air line between Baku and Sarajevo is being intensively considered, which would contribute to the development of business and tourist connections and would speed up business and any other cooperation.

Ambassador Guliyev repeated to the minister the invitation for an official visit to Azerbaijan, which the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov sent to Minister Konaković during the previous meeting.

Konaković wished the ambassador much success in his work and noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina will provide full support in his work, with the aim of strengthening relations between the two countries.
