The Owner of the Hotel admitted at the Trial that He had beaten the Worker

Amir Džafić, the owner of the hotel in Jablanica, who in August of this year brutally beat the worker Enisa Klepo, pleaded guilty before the Municipal Court in Konjic to the crime he is charged with – causing serious bodily injury. This surprised judge Almina Čilić, but also the acting prosecutor, as well as lawyer Enise Klepo, since he had previously pleaded not guilty.

“My client wants to plead guilty and that he is sincerely and deeply sorry that this happened in the first place and that he did not intend to do something like this,” said lawyer Nermin Karalić.

Amir Džafić feels guilty because, we remind you, he brutally beat his former employee Enisa Klepo after she quit her job dissatisfied with the working conditions and demanded her earned salary. Klepo suffered severe physical injuries that, as she says, still make her feel unwell today: “I don’t sleep, I don’t go out at night, I have fears, headaches as soon as the weather changes. Simply, my life is not the same thanks to Amir Dzafić”.

Regardless of the guilty plea, all the evidence, such as video surveillance footage, was presented at the hearing, and witnesses and experts were heard who explained in detail what exactly happened on August 1. For lawyer Nada Dalipagić, there is no doubt – she expects an effective punishment: “We have seen the result of this whole event. I hope that this will be a warning not only to him, that is, to the accused, not to commit criminal acts, but a general prevention for the commission of such terrible criminal acts”.

“I expect that we will win in this case and that justice will be served and as it was said – that this will be a warning for the future, that this does not happen again”, Klepo added.

She also points out that she did not receive an apology from her former employer, but that the admission of guilt is an indication that she was telling the truth.

The verdict against the accused Amir Dzafić will be pronounced this Thursday.
