The Play “Lady of the Camellias” will be shown at the National Theatre in Sarajevo on 29 January at 19:30. “Lady of the Camellias” is a beautiful love story set to the same part of Aleksandar Dimas and to the music of Giuseppe Verdija.
It is about the suffering of two young people who love each other, but who come from different social classes, so their great love is cut short in a dramatic way. Preparations for the play was challenging for the ballet ensemble, which during the year usually has one contemporary and one classical show.
‘’This is a famous story that every theatre has in its repertoire, and it involved a complete ensemble of the National Theatre in Sarajevo, as well as the students of ballet study’’’, said the ballet master Edina Papo.
