The Professor from Zagreb equated Hamas Attacks with the ARBiH

Boris Havel, Croatian political scientist and professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Zagreb, has been drawing incoherent parallels between Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Palestine for years.

In his post on the social media X (formerly Twitter), Havel posted a video of an Israeli house being set on fire with the comment that “this is not an unfamiliar sight to Croats from BiH”.

“A jihadist beast killed a dog and burned a house, and who knows what else. This is not an unfamiliar sight to Croats from BiH (Grabovica, Uzdol, Vares, Krizancevo Selo, Buhine Kuce…),” Havel posted.

Such statements are not new for the Zagreb professor Havel, who was born in Sarajevo. On several occasions, he stated to Croatian media, as well as those in BiH, that “Croats from BiH were the first in Europe to understand what is happening in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

In an interview four months ago, he explained this with the thesis that they “touch civilization” in both areas.

“Croats in Herzeg-Bosnia share many common values with Israelis, and in that context, there is mutual recognition,” Havel said at the time.

Furthermore, he pointed out that this link also exists because “only in Palestine and BiH did Shiite and Sunni unite to wage jihad”.

According to his opinion, the “terrorist Muslim Brotherhood with whom Alija Izetbegovic was in some contact” is still operating in BiH.

“That organization is still present in BiH, it does not act only as a terrorist organization, it acts as a factor in all plans,” Havel said a few years ago in an interview.

In addition to these views, Havel also advocates some theses that border on conspiracy theories, such as the one that the refugee crisis in Europe was caused with the aim of spreading “jihad” in Europe. In addition to this, there is also the bizarre thesis that Iran wants to provoke a nuclear war in order to bring the “Mahdi” (the Final Leader in Islamic eschatology who is believed to appear at the end of times to rid the world of evil and injustice) into the world, Klix.ba reports.
