The deputy in the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) – SDA Salko Zildzic remains in solitary confinement in Uzice for a month, and the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Uzice also announced on this occasion.

Namely, as they stated in their official statement, the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Uzice initiated investigation proceedings against the suspect Salko Zildzic (42), a citizen of BiH, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of “Illegal production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive substances”.

The suspect was heard in the preliminary investigation procedure at the Bajina Basta Police Station, where he presented his defense.

“After the hearing, the prosecution proposed to the judge for preliminary proceedings of the High Court in Uzice that the suspect be detained for 30 days, given that in this particular case there are circumstances that indicate the danger of the suspect’s escape,” the Uzice prosecutor’s office announced.

In its statement, the Higher Public Prosecutor’s Office in Uzice also states that in the investigation process, it undertakes the necessary evidentiary actions in order to obtain evidence that is necessary for the decision to file an indictment.

To recall, Zildzic requested the help of the Embassy of BiH in Belgrade after he was ordered to be detained for one month, Klix.ba reports.
