radoncicAfter questioning the suspect Fahrudin Radončić, the acting prosecutor referred to the Court of B&H a proposal for custody for the period of 30 days.

Custody was proposed due to the risk that, by being released, the suspect could hinder the investigation, suppress evidence and influence the witnesses or accomplices, as well as commit another criminal offense or complete the initiated one.

The acting prosecutor, together with a team of assistants and advisors, continues intense investigation in this case, the Prosecution of B&H stated.

The procedure in progress is fully compliant with the orders of the launch and expansion of investigation and procedural steps are taken in the required order. The acting prosecutor is authorized to lead the investigation, supervise the operations of authorized officials, coordinate the investigation and acts in accordance with legal authorizations during the complete investigation.

The Prosecutor’s Office of B&H reminds the public that all citizens are equal before the law, that the procedure is being conducted in accordance with the law, that there are no untouchables before the law and that any kind of political or media pressure cannot and will not influence the conduction of the procedure.
