The recorded number of entries and exits of persons from high migration risk countries across the border of BiH in the first six months of this year is 220.094 persons, which is 41,309 persons or 23.11 percent more than in the same period last year, when 178,785 were recorded, was told to Srna news agency by the Chief of Staff of the BiH Border Police Director Radisa Samardzija.

“In BiH, a total of 114,842 people have entered and 105,252 citizens of high migration risk countries have exited, which is a difference of 9,590 persons,” Samardzija specified.

He added that the biggest difference (entry-exit) was recorded among nationals of Turkey (4,508), China (3,292) and Albania (1,522).

Of the total number, 456 persons were detected during illegal entry into BiH, while 1,603 people were found illegally leaving BiH,” Samardzija explained.

At the border crossings, 230 persons were detected (at the entrance 44, and at the exit 186), and outside the border crossings 1,829 persons (at the entrance 412 and at the exit 1,417) were detected.
