Satellites from the Starlink group could also be seen tonight in the sky above the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Starlink is a project of the SpaceX company led by Elon Musk. Its goal is to cover the entire world with a large number of small satellites with high-speed Internet access.

As readers informed Klix.ba, a large number of luminous objects in a regular formation could be seen tonight over Sarajevo, and many citizens remained confused as to what exactly it was.

As can be seen on the SpaceX Starlink Satellites Tracker page, the good visibility of Space X’s satellites for Sarajevo was today at 6:01 p.m.

The Starlink satellite internet network belonging to the company SpaceX has been available in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2022.

The 20 satellites are part of the latest effort by SpaceX, a company Musk founded, to help deliver high speed internet from low-earth orbit. Musk has launched more than 5,000 satellites into orbit and plans to have at least 42,000 launched in the coming years.

The best time to spot the satellites is shortly after they launch before they reach their set orbit about 320 miles away.
