The Second International Jumps from the Waterfall in Jajce to start today

jajceMore than 30 divers from B&H, Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia and Slovenia will participate today in the jumps from the Jajce waterfall.

A total of 50 jumps will be performed, out of which 10 jumps will be show jumps and the trophies. Will get the best three jumpers, the best jumper of show jumps and one trophy that will get its new owner next year.

Waterfall in Jajce, around 21 meters high and created at the confluence of the Pliva and Vrbas River, according to many is one of the ten most beautiful waterfalls in the world. It is among the rare waterfalls located in the very center of the city.

The program of the jumps from the waterfall in Jajce starts at 12 p.m. with the presentation of the book “The sporting chronicle” by sports journalist Muhamed Bikić, and promoters are legends of Mostar jumps, Emir Balić and Vlatko Glavaš.

Jumps will be performed until 4 p.m.

The best jumper of Kosovo, Florid Gashi will participate in jumps from the waterfall as well. He is this year’s winner of jumps from Švanjski Bridge in Djakovica. Young Florid Gashi will arrive to Jajce together with his coach, Avdyl Osmani.

The president of this year’s jury of the jumps from the waterfall in Jajce is the most popular jumper from Mostar, Emir Balić.

For several years the experts in tourism include Jajce in one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, which besides the waterfall in the center of town, also offers tourists the beauty of the Pliva lakes as well as the religious tourism, plenty of remains from medieval Bosnia etc.
