The Session of the Council of Ministers to be held Today

At the session of the Council of Ministers, which should be held today, there will be an initiative for conducting negotiations to conclude a loan agreement – an instrument for reforms and growth for the Balkans between the EU and BiH, that is, the Central Bank of BiH as the borrower’s agent.

On the agenda is a draft loan agreement – a project to build and equip an additional facility for student accommodation in the Public Institution Student Center “Boriša Starović” in Foča between the Saudi Development Fund and BiH, whose proponent is the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

At the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, draft agreements and amendments between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Investment Bank on the financing of the highway “Vc” – Tunel Kvanj – Buna, Mostar South and Zenica North should be considered.

The ministers will also have a proposal of the basis for initiating the procedure for accepting amendments to the UN Tourism Statute, proposed by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, as well as a proposal for a decision on determining the functions, structures and bodies of BiH responsible for the implementation of the territorial cooperation program 2021- 2027, at the proposal of the Directorate for European Integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the agenda is a proposal for a decision on amendments to the decision on compensation for the use of radio frequency spectrum in BiH, a proposal for a decision on amending the decision on the formation of the Council for Children of BiH, and a proposal for a decision on amendments to the decision on salary supplements based on special conditions of the workplace for employees who perform affairs of the judicial police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations has submitted a proposal for a decision on the temporary suspension and temporary reduction of customs rates for the import of certain goods until December 31, 2025, and a proposal for a decision on repeating the amount of tariff quotas in 2024 related to the import of raw cane sugar reeds for refining.

The session will be held in the building of institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, starting at 12:00, Srna writes.
