World Day of Multiple Sclerosis klix.baIn commemoration of World Multiple Sclerosis Day, the Newevent Agency and the Association of Patients with Sclerosis in the Sarajevo Canton, are organizing an unusual event, and are inviting all interested parties to visit the plateau in front of the Sarajevo City Center.

The event titled “Together We Are Stronger – Zajedno smo jači” will be held on May 29th, 2015, from 7pm to 9pm.

Our strongman, Adin Arnaut, will attempt to pull a city bus weighing 15 tons. The aim of the event is to draw public attention, and to create a chance to bring awareness to the community towards this category of people.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease involving the central nervous system, whose function depends on a sufficient and constant stream of nerve impulses, which ensure normal functioning of the whole organism.

The real cause of MS is still unknown. It is believed that it is not caused by a single causative agent. Nowadays, the most widely accepted theory is that it is caused by a combination of various factors such as genetic predisposition, the environment, and exposure to the virus during early childhood.

Official project supporters include: Sarajevo International Airport, Lottery of B&H, Centrotrans, Canon, Meggle, Hyundai Auto BH, Sarajevo City Center, Antena Sarajevo, Pink BH, and Klix.ba.
