The Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Cantonal Tax Office of Zenica, has announced the sale of the seized assets of the Kakanj and Zenica Brown Coal Mines.
As stated in the ad, the sale is organized in order to settle the debtor’s tax obligations, through the first public auction.

It is about three lots that belong to the Stara Jama facility. Each includes a house, a building and a yard, worth 1.7 million BAM, 2.1 million BAM and 2.5 million BAM, at the address 7. Muslim brigade b.b.
The property of RMU Zenica in the value of 2,296,200 BAM is also for sale. It is a property with an area of 73,788 m2 that belongs to the Strajani mine.
The first public auction will be held on December 7, 2023 (Thursday) in the building of the Cantonal Tax Office in Zenica.
Bidders at the first auction are required to pay a deposit in the amount of 10% of the starting price no later than the day before
auctions, the ad points out.
We remind you that both of these mines operate as part of Elektroprivreda BiH, and are among the largest tax debtors in the entity.
At the end of the third quarter of this year, RMU Zenica was the third largest debtor in FBiH based on taxes, contributions, fees and other fees in the amount of 150,149,959 BAM.
RMU Zenica also found itself on the infamous list of the biggest debtors, but with a slightly better ranking in seventh position and a debt of 91,478,866 BAM, eKapija writes.
