The Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina has published data on the activities of the Government of the RS and the conclusion of contracts with companies that ended up on the American blacklist.
Namely, the US Embassy focused on the contracts signed by the entity government during the last year and this year.
“In 2023 and 2024, the Government of the RS signed contracts worth more than 70 million BAM with the companies Prointer, Kaldera and Sirius in 2010. All these companies are now on the US sanctions list because of their role in enabling corruption,” they said from the US Embassy.
The company Sirius 2010, which was recently assigned a role in the digitalization of RTV signals in BiH, announced that it is ready to leave the project due to sanctions.
The company, after being blacklisted in the USA, informed the Ministry of Transport and Communications that it is ready to withdraw from this project, and that it will certainly have to inform the ministry in writing in the coming days.
On the other hand, on July 18, it was announced that the companies Infinity International and Sirius 2010 founded a new company in order to circumvent sanctions.
Also, the company Prointer, which is associated with Igor Dodik, made it to this list in June 2024.
What should be noted is that Igor Dodik has been on the blacklist since October 20, 2023.
