The warmest October since the beginning of Measurements

October will end with above-average air temperatures, but with unstable weather, rain and showers that will be more in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) of BiH. They stated that, in addition to the lack of precipitation, October 2023 will also be the warmest October in Bosnia and Herzegovina since official measurements began.

In the first week of November, it will remain above average warm, but with unstable weather with rain and showers.

More pronounced precipitation is expected in the southern and southwestern regions of the country. In the central, northern and eastern areas, precipitation will not be absent, but it will be significantly less compared to the southern areas.

Minimum air temperatures will vary from five to ten degrees Celsius in Bosnia, in the area of Herzegovina up to 12 degrees. The highest daily temperature values will be in the range of 15 to 20 degrees in Bosnia. In the south of the country and up to 22.

Unstable weather with rain is also forecast for the period from November 6 to 11. More pronounced precipitation is possible in the south and southwest of the country.

According to the current synoptic models, stabilization of weather conditions is likely from November 12, the FHMZ of BiH points out.

Morning temperatures will range from three to eight degrees, in the south of the country up to ten. The maximum expected temperatures will vary between 10 and 15 degrees, in Herzegovina until the 16th.
