12081407_1684600701776607_1795857903_nIn the regular economic report for South Eastern Europe, which was presented by the World Bank (WB) today in Sarajevo, it was stated that economic growth of 1.9% is expected for B&H in 2015, which represents significant increase in comparison with last year, when it was estimated to 0.8 %.

They emphasized that the initiators of this growth will be construction and industrial production.

The World Bank representatives stated that international institutions have not requested an increase in excise duties from B&H authorities, and that they do not recommend this move at all.

Recommendations of the World Bank for B&H are following: continuation of economic reforms, directing of social spending for the most vulnerable population, confrontation with fiscal and demographic challenges, improvement of the business environment, development of debt management strategy, and improvement of fiscal coordination.
