3rd Convoy SyriaThe convoy of humanitarian aid of the organization ‘Pomozi.ba” with 260 tons of food, with the market value of around 450,000 BAM, arrived in Syrian Border.

A convoy of 12 trucks reached the refugees through charity “IHH” (Insani Yardim Vakfi), which sent part of them to Syria, and part of them in the camps in Turkey.

“This is the fifth time that we are helping refugees from Syria. The first time we went in January 2013 when ‘Pomozi.ba’ was at its beginning, but we managed to collect a truck of aid,” said the founder of the humanitarian organization “Pomozi.ba” Elvir Karalic.

He said that back in 2015, when the wave of refugees came to Europe, they send more than 100 tons of aid to Serbia, but they also held a variety of other activities thus giving the support to refugees in Syria and the Middle East that were in neighboring Serbia at that time.

“During Ramadan 2016, we paid a total of 40,000 BAM to “IHH” which made iftar for 10,000 people, including 1,200 children without one or both parents. During the terrible events in Aleppo in December 2016, we sent a ton of flour for Aleppo in cooperation with the Association “Solidarnost” from Bihac,” stated Karalic.
