Thirtieth Anniversary of Beginning of Dissolution of the Manjaca Camp

It is the thirtieth anniversary of the beginning of the dissolution of the Manjača camp. This camp is one of the most well-known concentration camps in the aggression against the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the best documented and the earliest formed.

It is known that more than 5,000 inmates, mostly Bosniaks and Croats, but also of Serbian nationality, were tortured in that camp, and mass graves were also found in the camp’s narrower area.

The Association of Detainees of Bosnia and Herzegovina reminds that only some of the main criminals were sentenced to around 130 years in prison for proven war crimes in the Manjača camp before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the International Criminal Court in The Hague, the County Courts in Split and Zagreb, and the District Court in Banja Luka.
