This Year, Weapons Exports from BiH “exploded”

In the first seven months of this year, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) exported weapons and ammunition worth almost 167 million BAM.

This is by as much as 43 percent more compared to the same period last year when the export of these products amounted to 116.6 million BAM.

BiH exported most of this type of goods to the United States (U.S.) – worth 62.2 million BAM, followed by Turkey with 20.8 million and Saudi Arabia with 15.4 million BAM. There are also Bulgaria with 16.6 million and Malaysia with 11 million BAM.

Namely, although it is not known where these weapons and ammunition end up, it can be assumed that their final destination is not the U.S., but that the U.S. uses them to supply its allies, such as Ukraine.

To recall, BiH mainly exports ammunition.

Some of our factories, such as Igman in Konjic, have the ability to produce ammunition according to Eastern (Russian) and Western (NATO) standards, which is something that few factories in the world can do.

It was previously written that several of our companies have increased production and exports, such as Gorazde companies Unis Ginex and Pobjeda Technology, Biznis Info reports.
