For the first time, Bosnia and Herzegovina has three companies on the “Deloitte” ranking of 500 biggest companies in Central Europe. The three most successful groups are: “Optima Group”, “Holdina” and JP “Elektroprivreda BiH”.
Among the BH companies, the best positioned is “Optima Group”, which is on the 371st place and which is four places lower than in last year’s list. “Optima Group” in 2013 generated sales revenue of 629.7 million Euros, which represents a decrease of 1.4 percent compared to the previous year.
“Holdina” is for the first time on the list, with the income of 543.9 million Euros. The company achieved sales growth of 77.6 percent, which was enough to occupy the 434th position.
In addition, “Elektroprivreda BiH” is also on the list. This company, with 496.8 million Euros of revenue, which grew by 9.6 percent, positioned on the 480th place on the list “top 500”.
It is interesting that all three BH companies that have joined this list, are of the energy sector.
In order to be included on the list, it was necessary for a company’s to achieve its sales revenue in excess of 477 million Euros.
