Mostar police have established the identity of one of the three attackers who attacked a man from Spain and his son in Zrinjevac park in Mostar yesterday because the boy was wearing the jersey of the BiH national team.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the HNC announced today that M.E.M.G. (1975) from Spain yesterday at 4:20 p.m. reported to the Mostar Police Department that he and his minor son, who was wearing the jersey of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were attacked by three unknown younger people in black T-shirts and shorts while they were walking in Zrinjevac park in Mostar.

One of the attackers was also leading a dog, and they addressed the Spaniards in English and said that the boy could not wear the Bosnia and Herzegovina jersey, after which they tried to take him off.

The attacked Spaniard stood up to protect his son, and the aforementioned persons physically attacked him and run away..

The police patrols on the ground were immediately notified and the person with the dog was found very quickly, and it is M.G. (2002) from Mostar, according to the police report.
