On the night of July 24-25, the Russians attacked the south of Odesa region and the central region with Shahed drones, and the Ukrainian air defense shot down 25 of the 38 drones.
“The occupiers attacked with Shahed attack drones from Cape Chauda in Crimea and Primorsky-Akhtarsk in Russia on the night of July 24-25. Last night, the enemy used 38 Shahed-131/136 attack drones, targeting infrastructure facilities in several directions, including the south of Odesa Oblast and the central region of Ukraine,” the Ukrainian Air Force said.
The airstrike was reportedly repulsed by Air Force anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare units, along with defense forces’ mobile fire groups.
As a result of the air battle, 25 strike drones were shot down. Three more Shahed drones were shot down after crossing the state border with Romania.
Anti-aircraft defense is deployed in Odesa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy regions, Klix.ba writes.
