‘Migrations from BIH’ is the name of the book which was prepared by BIH Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees in cooperation with Faculty of Political Sciences of Sarajevo, reports Fena.
This book represents collected manuscripts from the international science meeting ‘Research workshop on migrations from BiH’ which was held in September 2012 in Sarajevo.
‘It is a fact that BiH is not very aware of the importance and possible role of Diaspora, especially for the development of this country. BIH has enormous resources in its Diaspora, resources that want to help in the development of their country’, said today in Sarajevo assistant minister of Human Rights and Refugees of BIH Ruzmira Tihić-Kadrić.
She added that, very little is known about BiH Diaspora in BiH.
‘With the research workshop, we’ve organised last year in cooperation with the Faculty of Political Sciences and with the collection of works and with the collection we wanted to influence the awareness about the importance of Diaspora. We wanted simply to increase the knowledge about the Diaspora’, said Tihić-Kadrić.
According to her, the collection of works will soon be available at the web-site of the Ministry in order to spread the awareness about the importance of BiH Diaspora.
